This ceramic-safe, high-lubrication wash formula is engineered specifically for ceramic-coated vehicles, vinyl wraps, and paint protection film. Shift Soap safely removes dirt, light road film, and grime while enhancing hydrophobic performance with built-in Bead Booster technology. The pH-balanced, concentrated blend creates thick, rich foam in a wash bucket and dense, clinging foam through a Shine Supply Foam Cannon — maximizing lubrication and minimizing the risk of wash-induced marring. Unlike traditional soaps focused purely on cleaning, Shift Soap is designed to maintain and extend the performance of ceramic coatings, making it the ideal maintenance wash for vehicles protected with Relock, Beadlock Pro, Beadlock Black, or other ceramic coatings.
Ceramic-first formula: Shift Soap is built specifically for ceramic-coated vehicles. It cleans safely while maintaining slickness and hydrophobic behavior.
Bead Booster technology: Helps restore and enhance water beading during routine maintenance washes.
Safe on multiple surfaces: Compatible with ceramic-coated paint, trim, glass, wheels, PPF, and vinyl wraps.
Maintenance-focused: Ideal for weekly or bi-weekly washes where protection preservation, not aggressive cleaning, is the goal.
Not a heavy cleaner: For severely dirty or neglected vehicles, start with Hole Shot as a pre-wash before contact washing with Shift Soap.
Sun use with control: Safe to use in direct sunlight when managed properly. Work in small sections and never allow soap to dry on the surface.
Add 2–4 oz of Shift Soap to your foam gun or foam cannon.
Fill the remainder of the container with water.
Rinse the vehicle thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris.
Apply a thick layer of foam to the entire vehicle and allow it to dwell briefly.
Proceed with a safe contact wash using proper wash media.
Rinse thoroughly and dry with a quality drying towel.
Bucket Wash Method
Rinse the vehicle thoroughly to remove loose contamination.
Add 4 oz of Shift Soap to a wash bucket.
Fill the bucket with water to activate thick, lubricated suds.
Wash from the top down using proper wash media and safe technique.
Rinse thoroughly.
Dry the vehicle completely to prevent water spotting.
Detailer Tips
Work panel-by-panel in direct sun. Soap drying on a hot panel is the fastest way to leave streaks. Foam, wash, rinse one section at a time.
Pre-wash heavy contamination with Hole Shot first. Shift maintains ceramic coatings — it doesn't strip baked-on road film or mud. For neglected vehicles, hit it with Hole Shot before the contact wash.
Use a foam cannon when you can. A thick foam layer extends dwell time, letting the ceramic-safe surfactants do work before any mitt touches the panel. That's where wash-induced marring usually happens.
Pair with Beadlock-coated wheels and suspension. Shift is safe across the whole vehicle, including over Beadlock-coated wheels and suspension components.
Two-bucket method recommended. Separating wash water from rinse water prevents you from re-applying loose grit to the paint.

This soap takes others into submission. Shift soap was the first product I used by Shine Supply and had to get more…this stuff is just about perfect. It cleans, foams nicely, smells good and boosts existing protection and get this, you can do it in the sun! My truck has never looked so good!
I was turned on to Shine Supply by a local detailer who uses the whole line of products - I picked up quite a selection to get started with interior and exterior and this stuff is really nice to use but even nicer to see after it’s used. I threw shift soap into the foam cannon that Shine Supply sells and it came out wonderfully. Really nice soap and has a good smell. I’m glad there’s so many options and good prices - I’ll keep coming back :)
