SHRED THROUGH OXIDATION.
Heavy Cut is our only non-diminishing-abrasive compound, built to remove heavy oxidation from gel coat. Because it does not diminish, you will always need to follow it with a refining step. It holds its cutting power through a long buffing cycle and will not dry out in direct sun, so it tears through heavy oxidation and sand scratches the fast, efficient way on boats, motorhomes, and any chalky gel-coat surface.

How to Use
Rotary (primary)
- Use the Dock Boss Heavy Cut wool pad.
- Compound the gel coat to pull out the oxidation and scratches, keeping a controlled arm speed.
Dual action
- Use a cutting pad and work the section. Expect it to take more effort than on a rotary.
Detailer Tips
- For the best finish, after compounding step down to Chop Top on a Deck Hand wool pad, then follow with Wake Up on the Correcting Marine Foam Pad.
- For good results, run Heavy Cut on a Dock Boss wool pad, then follow with Wake Up on a Correcting Marine Foam Pad.
- Keep your pad clean with the Pad Cleaning Spur so the cut stays even.
- Built for gel coat.

Removed Heavy Oxidation With Easy!

Used Heavy cut marine on my toy hauler to get rid of the oxidation. An it worked an my first pass! Followed it up with wake up marine an it’s shining better than when I bought the trailer new! Love shine supply products an won’t use anything other than shiny supply!

This is a 2002 Sea Ray 240 Select, and with heavy cut it looks like new. Getting lots of comments on the dock!
Heavy cut did the best job out of all the product I have used, using it on a rotary with a wool pad it was like spreading butter on a bread. It did the job well and im happy to see the final results.
Removes oxidation well, doesn’t sling, good work time. Works great with the lake country twisted wool pads. Love the price compared to 3m heavy cut
Nice finish on gel coat
Heavy cut has great cycle time and easy to use in direct sunlight. Shreds through oxidation! Finishing rpm at 1200-1400 leaves a stunning shine 🤘
This is one of the easiest heavy compounds I've ever used. Paired with the white wool on the rotary it blasts through oxidation and sanding marks with ease! Not a ton of dust after either.

Used this a wool pad to buff out and restore shine to a 5th wheel camper. Worked great. The reaults came out great. Wasn't too hard to remove the residual material. (Not I did a 2nd buff with the Chop Top on a 5in DA with a foam pad)
Boss level compound. Definitely my go to now.
I've used this compound on dozens of boats and every time I'm amazed at how effective this stuff is at cutting through the oxidation caused by the elements. I would recommend it every time when detailing boats, a must have for every marine detailer!
Works great taking off heavily oxidized gel-coat
Cut right through 800 grit wet sanding scratches on an older boat, easy clean up can’t go wrong shaving down gel coat

I love the Heavy Cut followed up with Chop top. These two products are amazing together to knock out oxidation. I have tried other products that claim to do the job and they can not compete with Shine supply.

Pretty dusty, but it cuts well
The gelcoat on the hull of this old Campion Explorer was pretty beat up after years of neglect. After endless sanding steps and one heavy wool pad and Shine Supply Heavy cut, this boat was brought back to life! I highly recommend this product as it never let's me down.
