This high-foaming, high-cleaning formula is engineered to break down dirt, traffic film, and road grime while remaining pH neutral and safe on existing waxes and sealants when used correctly. The highly concentrated blend produces dense, cherry-scented suds almost instantly in a wash bucket, or thick, shaving-cream-style foam when used with a Shine Supply Foam Gun — maximizing dwell time and cleaning efficiency. Hotshot Soap is ideal for mobile detailing, high-volume washing, and paint preparation prior to wax, sealant, or ceramic coating application, where strong cleaning is required without leaving behind gloss boosters or residues.

- Foam isn't everything: Thick foam helps increase dwell time and loosen contamination, but proper wash technique and clean wash media are still critical to preventing marring.
- Sun use with control: Hotshot can be used in direct sunlight when managed properly. Work panel by panel and never allow soap to dry on the surface.

How to Use
Foam Gun / Foam Cannon Method
- Add 2–4 oz of Hotshot to your foam gun or foam cannon.
- Fill the remainder of the container with water.
- Rinse the vehicle thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Apply a thick layer of foam to the entire vehicle, allowing it to dwell briefly to loosen dirt and traffic film.
- Proceed with a contact wash using proper wash media, or rinse as part of your wash process.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry with a quality drying towel.
Bucket Wash Method
- Rinse the vehicle thoroughly to remove loose contamination.
- Add 4 oz of Hotshot to a wash bucket.
- Fill the bucket with water to activate rich, lubricated suds.
- Wash from the top down using proper wash media and safe wash technique.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry to prevent water spotting.
Detailer Tips
- Foam gun first, contact wash second. Hotshot's concentrate expands into dense, clinging suds when used through a foam gun. That extended dwell time does the cleaning work for you before you ever touch the panel with a mitt.
- Use Hotshot to prep paint for coatings, not to maintain them. Hotshot strips off all gloss boosters and residues, which is exactly what you want before applying a ceramic coating. After the coating is on, switch to Shift Soap for ongoing maintenance.
- Don't run Hotshot weekly on ceramic-coated cars. The high-cleaning chemistry that makes Hotshot great for prep can wear ceramic coatings prematurely if used as a maintenance wash.
- Work panel by panel in the sun. Hotshot is sun-tolerant when managed, but the high-foam suds dry fast on hot paint. Foam, wash, rinse one panel before moving to the next.
- A little concentrate goes a long way. The concentrate dilutes deep, so a 16oz or gallon goes a long way on a mobile detail route or a busy day in the shop.
