The Shine Supply Clay Mitt is a synthetic decontamination mitt that pulls bonded contaminants out of your paint far faster than a traditional clay bar. It's a medium grade — an aggressive, defined cut that grabs embedded fallout and overspray — and it wears right on your hand so you can cover big panels quickly. Use it with Shine Mist as your clay lube or run it during your wash with plenty of foam. Rinse the synthetic surface between passes and it'll last a very long time.

• Synthetic rubber surface: Glides over paint and shears off bonded contaminants without the mess of breaking down a clay bar.
• Medium (aggressive) grade: A defined cut that clears heavier fallout, overspray, and rough "sandpaper" texture.
• Wear-it design: Fits on your hand to cover large panels quickly and evenly.
• Rinse and reuse: Wash out the synthetic surface between uses; drop it and just rinse it off instead of tossing it like clay.
• Durable and long-lasting: Holds up over many decon jobs when cared for.
• Always use lubrication: Never run it on dry paint — a medium grade can marr the finish without Shine Mist clay lube or a thick soap film to glide on.

How to Use

With Clay Lube (Shine Mist)

1. Wash and rinse the vehicle first.
2. Spray a section of paint generously with Shine Mist clay lube.
3. Glide the mitt back and forth in straight lines with light pressure until the paint feels smooth.
4. Wipe the section with a clean microfiber towel and move on.
5. Rinse the mitt as it picks up contaminants.

During the Wash (Foam)

1. Wash and rinse the vehicle as normal first.
2. Re-foam the panel with a thick layer of suds to use as your lubrication.
3. Glide the mitt across the wet, soapy panel in straight lines, keeping it slick with suds the whole time.
4. Rinse the panel and the mitt, then finish your normal wash and dry.

Detailer Tips

• Keep the surface lubricated at all times — that's the difference between safe decon and installed marring.
• Since it's a medium grade, plan to follow decon with a polish on softer or darker paint.
• Rinse the mitt often so trapped grit doesn't get dragged back across the paint.
