The Shine Supply Clay Towel does the same job as our Clay Mitt in a flat towel format — synthetic decontamination that pulls bonded fallout and overspray out of your paint. It's a medium grade with a perforated synthetic surface: the holes trap loosened grime and debris as you work, so you're lifting contaminants away instead of rubbing them back across the finish. Use it with Shine Mist as your clay lube or during the wash with plenty of foam, rinse it out between passes, and it'll last a long time.

• Always use lubrication: Never work it on dry paint — a medium grade needs Shine Mist clay lube or a thick soap film to glide safely, or it can marr the finish.

How to Use

With Clay Lube (Shine Mist)

1. Wash and rinse the vehicle first.
2. Spray a section of paint generously with Shine Mist clay lube.
3. Glide the towel back and forth in straight lines with light pressure until the paint feels glass-smooth.
4. Wipe the section with a clean microfiber towel and move to the next.
5. Rinse the towel out as it loads up with contaminants.

During the Wash (Foam)

1. Wash and rinse the vehicle as normal first.
2. Re-foam the panel with a thick layer of suds to use as your lubrication.
3. Glide the towel across the wet, soapy surface in straight lines, keeping it slick with suds throughout.
4. Rinse the panel and the towel, then finish your normal wash and dry.

Detailer Tips

• Rinse frequently so the perforations stay clear and keep trapping debris instead of holding it against the paint.
• Keep it fully lubricated at all times — dry contact is what causes marring with any medium grade.
• Follow decon with a polish on softer or darker paint to refine the finish.
