The Stinger is a drill-mounted polishing cone for the tight, intricate spots a full-size polisher will never touch — exhaust tips, intricate wheels, lug nuts, and other detailed areas on the vehicle or the wheel. It comes as a two-pack: an orange correcting foam for cutting heavier defects and a black finishing foam for refining and finishing lighter marks.

• Drill-mounted cone: Chuck it into your drill to reach curves and recesses a polisher can't, on both vehicle and wheel.
• Two foams included: Orange correcting foam for more aggressive cutting; black finishing foam for finishing and lighter defects.
• Correct-then-finish workflow: Cut with the orange, then refine with the black for the best results.
• Made for tight, intricate areas: Exhaust tips, intricate wheel spokes, lug nuts, and other detailed spots.
• Usage note: Keep your drill speed controlled and let the foam and product do the work; too much speed or pressure builds heat.

How to Use

Correcting (Orange Foam)

1. Mount the orange cone in your drill.
2. Apply a few dabs of Cloud 9 Metal Polish (or your correcting compound) to the foam.
3. Work the area at a controlled speed with light, steady pressure until the defects clear.
4. Wipe the residue with a clean microfiber towel.

Finishing (Black Foam)

1. Swap to the black finishing cone.
2. Apply a small amount of Cloud Nine metal polish or finishing polish.
3. Refine the same area at a controlled speed to bring back gloss.
4. Wipe clean and inspect.

Detailer Tips

• Start with the least aggressive combo that works, and test a small spot before committing to the whole area.
• Keep the cone moving — parking it in one spot builds heat fast on small parts.
• Pair with our Cloud 9 Metal Polish for chrome and stainless exhaust tips, lug nuts, and other bare-metal work.
• Pairs with Cherry Bomb (the ball version) for rounded areas like the inside of exhaust tips.
